I follow Sandra and Barry's blog so have seen your name mentioned :-) We are planning on spending 28 days in an RV in New Zealand in February 2023 and really looking forward to it. I hope you get to see your boat in the not too distant future xLinda Gifford-Hullhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09932081445330172649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2663141082461614715.post-29906421949160586742021-07-20T22:24:57.054+01:002021-07-20T22:24:57.054+01:00It's hot days like you are experiencing that f...It's hot days like you are experiencing that fix my sense of missing being on the boat - far too hot for me!
A suggestion: wet a long sleeved cotton shirt under the cold tap, wring it out a bit so it's not dripping and put it on - sheer bliss! It warms up and dries out and then you repeat. I did it when we were on the River Avon and also on the Tardebigge flight one season. Saved my life and sanity, I reckon, as I do not cope in the heat!
Cheers, Marilyn (nb Waka Huia, but still in NZ)Marilyn, nb Waka Huiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09485346080040799974noreply@blogger.com
