excited as we turned out of the marina for the last time. We went down through the first two locks at Stoke Bruerne and tied up for the night. We like it there as there is a very good pub which of course we had to visit. Two large glasses of wine but I still managed to cook a roast dinner! Millie isn't quite at home yet as she didn't eat anything last night but at least she didn't scratch at the door all night. However she is now fast asleep IN the bed as usual on the boat!

Sunday 30th May
Not a particularly nice day but who cares!! Richard spent the morning installing a new piece of equipment that is supposed to charge the batteries quicker (or something like that!). After lunch we set off on our “summer cruise”. The sun was shining and I felt quite 
excited as we turned out of the marina for the last time. We went down through the first two locks at Stoke Bruerne and tied up for the night.
