I’m sure you will be pleased to know that Millie was fast asleep on our bed this morning – as it was so hot we had left the front doors open during the night so she had taken advantage of the fact! Richard went off on his bike to find the bits he needed to do the waste for the washing machine and was soon back and £50 worse off as everything had to be in 
brass :-( He started drilling the hole in the boat from the inside but his drill ran out of power and he discovered that he had forgotten to bring the charger for it. He also discovered that he hadn’t got a hole saw the right size. So bang goes the installation of the washing machine. We went for a walk into Shepperton and then I sat under the trees and read for the rest of the afternoon – I haven’t done that for ages! We went for a meal to Blubeckers in the evening – we used to go there for special occasions when the kids were younger so it was nice to go in there again.
