A day off!! I could get used to 2 days on and 1 day off! The reason for our day off was that one of the boats, Lazydaze, who we went up the Thames with in June 2010 is moored in Mercia Marina and Val and Keith live on board. Val and I have kept in touch by email and Facebook for the last couple of years and it was lovely to catch up with them again. After they had gone Richard walked into Willington and I snuggled down on the new sofa with the fire lit and watched a DVD – in fact we watched 2 DVDs in the end!! A lovely way to spend a Saturday :-)

Saturday 14th April
