I had a very lazy start to the day by having a lie-in till 10am! Richard walked into Shepperton – probably disgusted by my laziness! It was a lovely morning – blue sky and sunshine and quite warm. We had a phone call from Ollie (one of Richard’s step daughters) to say that she, Fay and Brooke were coming for a cup of tea. They arrived about 3pm and fortunately there was still half of the chocolate cake left that I had made yesterday! They didn’t stay long but it was lovely to see 
them. In the evening we had made plans to have dinner at Thames Court with more old friends of mine, Shirley and Barry. As we left the boat to walk over to the pub there was a beautiful sunset. We had a very good meal which was a relief after our experience last Sunday! We all came back to Mary H for coffee and the official guided tour of the boat! Another lovely evening and great way of catching up with old friends.
